ABOUT ME —
Hi! I'm Jenny.
I’m a visual and motion designer based in London. I’m currently working at Cleo, an AI-powered money app on a mission to improve people’s relationship with their finances.
At Cleo, I lead the Creative Studio, a fast-moving and consistently growing team of designers working across brand, motion and marketing. Alongside managing and mentoring the team, I stay hands-on with design and animation work, helping shape everything from brand campaigns and product launches to social content and explainer videos.
We now use AI in our creative processes every day. That includes generating visuals with tools like Runway and Visual Electric, crafting prompts to explore visual directions, and experimenting with motion and copy concepts. It’s a big part of how we move fast and keep ideas fresh.
Before Cleo, I worked at Plusone, a branding and motion design studio in Amsterdam, as well as freelance and at the martech agency DEPT. Across these roles, I covered everything from highly polished, longform content to fast-paced, social-first creative, collaborating with brands including eBay, Just Eat, The White Company, Smart, NPO, Philips, Channel 5, Hot Icarus, IRIS Listen Well, Perkbox and Nexus.
I'm passionate about mentoring designers and writers, improving workflows, and helping teams get the most out of design and motion. I believe that a clear file structure, strong animation fundamentals, and good taste can solve almost any creative problem.
I’m experienced in tools like After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma, and have worked across both marketing and product in studio, agency and in-house environments.
I’m a graduate from the design school Shillington College, London. However, my life didn’t start in design. Prior to this, I graduated from Durham University with a first in Geography.
